When a Problem Arises...What Can I Do?

S=stop and think about the issue

T= think about if it is necessary to share with others or can I solve the problem on my own?

O= opt out of creating a bigger problem, use an I feel or I think statement to let someone know how you feel

P=practice patience, forgiveness, and positive attitude. This is key to fixing a problem

My Job is to...

So far this year, we have been working on what it looks like and sounds like in our classroom, in the hall, in the lunchroom, in the bathroom, and outside at recess. We continue to work on how important it is for us to learn and make the most of our time in class. I challenge each and every one of us to think about our part in that. What will it take for us to work, respect, belong, and be safe? Set a goal... stick to it. In the end it will help all of us to do our best work.
